Theocracy Politics

WHAT I LEARNED IN AFGHANISTAN - Is that theocratic states are pure tyranny.

JESUS H. CHRIST! - This ain't a theocracy, this ain't the Age of Absolutism: the Divine Right of Kings is NOT a Constitutional principle, people!

Forgive me, I couldn't shorten the quote without it losing its impact.

Almost scrolled past the Vik poster. Glad I didn't.

I just couldn't truncate the quote. And rest a**ured, I insist on being succinct.

By "offered" I meant "covered by the insurance plan without any previous objection theretofore." And besides, contraceptives in this case seem rather superfluous given the further expansion of the perks of corporate personhood, but that's just me.
EmmaRoydes - July 2, 2014, 3:15 pm
And, to ignorant people, those 2 drugs and one particular iud constitute a war on women. Pretty crazy don't you think?
EmmaRoydes - July 2, 2014, 3:13 pm
I dont think they were offering the specific drugs that they sued for. They still offer 16 other bc pills
fauxnews - July 2, 2014, 1:18 pm
That said, Hobby Lobby 'still' has cool stuff. Won't stop shopping there. X-D
fauxnews - July 2, 2014, 1:17 pm
It's not so crazy,Cannabal. They won. And won big. The problem is that this is the LAST thing the GOP needs before a major election. They need the women vote. It killed them in 2012. Will be interesting to see if their war against women will affect 2014.
Cannabal - July 2, 2014, 12:55 pm
It's crazy that Hobby Lobby would initiate any lawsuit in the first place over contraceptives it not only invests in but also offered to its own employees before the PPACA legislation, but I guess anyone will use "Obamacare" as an excuse to sue.
OTC - July 1, 2014, 4:03 pm
Because its a religious 'private' company? (you know how liberals hate anything religious and private)
EmmaRoydes - July 1, 2014, 12:10 pm
Just how is Hobby Lobby imposing anything on the rest of society? Seems like the government was trying to impose on Hobby Lobby by violating one of its own laws (RFRA) and who, outside of the few women who work for Hobby Lobby, are being imposed on?
